So this Day in the Life (DITL) session took me to the coolest playground ever, one of my favorite burger joints (Twisted Root), and introduced me to the sweet perfection that is Emporium Pies.  Basically I was a Shrum for a day 🙂 which needless to say is a pretty good life!
All in all, my favorite thing was watching these parents of 3 multitask all day long.  Countless boo boos were kissed, shoes were buckled and tied dozens of times, and sibling rivalries were stopped before they could barely get started.  Andrew and Courtney, though, handled this with all the coolness in the world, they made it look way too easy.  I was even thinking “I should have a 3rd kid”….and then I remembered, “I’m not really a Shrum, so I’m good with just 2.”

These three kiddos are my grands. Thank you for capturing those everyday type memories that I am missing by living many miles away. Joyful tears come to my eyes.
