From the time I started my portrait business around 10 years ago, I knew I wanted to offer a documentary style session that included all the little everyday moments that go on inside of a family. After going through various drafts of who I am as a photographer, I’ve finally fallen in love with family photojournalism…it is AMAZING!
Family documentary sessions are the perfect way to see what your life looks like from the outside, how hard you work as a parent, and how much love (and comedy) exists in a home.
See for yourself the tender, sweet, and funny moments captured with the Phillips family earlier this month. We started at 6:30am and I had such a fun day blending in with the family…yes I’d like to think I was Erin “Phillips” for the day 🙂

This is so neat! I know the family will enjoy these pictures! I wish I’d had something like this when my kids were young instead of a million pictures in a box in the garage!!????. One question though, did I see bathroom tissue mixed in with the veggies?? Too funny!!!
